That first day we saw you in that rspca we knew we had a keeper.. we wernt looking for a boxer Donna wanted a jack russle but we couldnt of asked for a better, more loyal, kind dog... you brought many happy times and few sad times..you really were a big gentleman... every 1 you met fell in love instantly with you.
These photos make us giggle..
we could dress you up in any thing and the
first thing you would do is go tell dad
"look what they have done to me now rooooo"
lol...
such a sweetie..
My big lad on his last holiday.. not long before we said goodbye in mablethorpe.. he was very poorly before this holiday and didnt think we would make the holiday... once again he amazed us and was like a pup running on the beech chasing charlie into the sea and snoring all night keep mummy up as usual lol.. where he kept getting his strength from will always amaze us..
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

Sunlight streams through window pane onto a spot on the floor.....
then I remember,
it's where you used to lie, but now you are no more.
Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound.....
then I remember,
it's where your paws would joyously abound.
A voice is heard along the road, and up beyond the hill,
then I remember,
it can't be yours..... your golden voice is still.
But I'll take that vacant spot of floor and empty muted hall,
and lay them with the absent voice and unused dish along the wall.
I'll wrap these treasured memories in a blanket of my love,
and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.
